What a beauty
In spite of the weather (again) there was an incredible sky as I drove home. The clouds in the west were clearing and the sunset was shining through in amazing colour. Incredible hot oranges edged the clouds near where the sun had gone down and the sky itself ranged from purple to pink to yellow to green. It was like the sky breaking through from an alien world.

A good day
In spite of the weather - raining most of the day - it was a good day. It was the first proper day out for nearly a fortnight.
I saw my sons and grand-daughterand my parents. I bought a T-Rex CD and a copy of Shenmue 2 for the XBox that was on offer. I also got a new pair of walking shoes as I thought I ought to look after my feet more in view of my recent foot problem. I know that an infection is probably not affected by the quality of footwear, but it brings home how important your feet are for your mobility.
Caitlin (my grand-daughter) seems to have grown every time I see her. She was as bright as a button today and her first tooth has come through. I need to think what to get her for Christmas, now.
Jason got a good progress report from college, so he's feeling pleased with himself.
David seems to have settled into his new job pretty well.
And after being out all day I came home to find that June is as lovely as ever. What more could a guy ask for?

Dane & Joe
I've just posted last week's Dane & Joe strip to my site, the Broken Sword special, which can be found here. As usual, the latest strip can be found on the Just Adventure site.

The Sapphire Claw
The colouring went very smoothly, so I've just posted the new episode onto the website. One of the curious things about The Sapphire Claw is that I have to get myself into a very different mind-set than when I do my other two strips. While they are much more static in their approach, SC has a much more dynamic feel and it's quite refreshing to be able to draw Scout in a different set of poses.
The Sapphire Claw
I've had a good day today. I've managed to pencil and ink a new episode of The Sapphire Claw. I'm about to scan it in and colour it, so with a bit of luck I'll be posting it before the end of the evening.

Excellent PvP strip
I've just been catching up with PvP and thought you kight like to see this one here.
Out for a walk
I went out to post the birthday card and have a brief wander around the market. Not very exciting, mostly cheap tat on sale, though I realised I should have bought more peanuts for the birds once I returned. What I did find, though, was that I was again pretty wiped out from this relatively mild bit of exercise. I hope this clears up pretty quickly as feeling the way I do at the moment is pretty frustrating to say the least.

Colouring
I've just started the process of colouring some of the older Juniper Crescent strips that have been in black and white until now. The first four (62 - 65) have just been posted to the website and can be found here.
Been out
Although we went to the shops in the car, just walking around the supermarket has made me very tired. I think the infection must have been much more severe than I thought. Still, at least I'm mobile again and will just have to build up over the next few days.
Managed to get a birthday card for Emma (the girlfriend of my eldest son, Shaun). Must pop out again tomorrow and post it. Ooh, it's market day tomorrow so I'll see what wondrous delights await on a grey November day...
Going out
I'm about to go out for the first time in a week (that didn't involve the use of a wheelchair). I hope my foot can bear the strain. :)
I really need to get active again - I've put a few pounds on over the last week with all the inactivity.
Downloads page
Although there isn't a lot to download yet (just one desktop image) I've created a Download Page on the site. If anyone has any particular suggetions of what you'd like to see me post, then please let me know.
Juniper Crescent Updated
The latest Juniper Crescent strip has just been posted on the website. This ends the current "storyline" so I'm looking through my mass of ideas to find something that uses characters I haven't called on for a while. Some stuff with the kids, perhaps.
