Collaboration
There's an interesting piece on collaboration over at Neil Gaiman's Journal.

At last it's back
I've been having real problems posting to the blog the last couple of days. The last one (Ideas) was posted as a it of a test.
I don't know what's happened to the time this week. It's just flown by as I've been sending out so many e-mails, writing up outlines, developing story ideas, planning a book proposal, meeting with people or talking on the phone, and answering questions over at GameBoomers. I've never been so busy.
I went out to post information off to a prospective client, yesterday, and thought I'd pick up some cat litter at the same time. My head was so full of thoughts and ideas that I was halfway back home before I realised that I'd forgotten to get the litter. So I turned around and trudged back to the shop to get it. I hope the cat appreciates what I do for it. :)
Something has gone really wrong with the Blogger posting software as I now have five versions of the Ideas posting come through. I'll have to delete some of them from the blog or it looks stupid. I hate the changes Blogger made to the posting pages.
Ideas
I was thinking of writing a piece about ideas. It was going to be clever, witty, thoughtful, even insightful. I'd open the piece with something like, "Authors regularly remark on the fact that they are often asked where they get their ideas, yet ii's something that's never happened to me..." Except now I have been asked and thoughts of a clever intro have gone out of the window. And all because some person was kind enough to take an interest in what I do. :)
Anyway, back to the drawing board of how to start the piece...

Questions and Answers
The kind people over at GameBoomers are running a Developer Q&A session. I should have posted this yesterday, but I was so busy... If you're interested in reading or joining in, please pop along and do so.
