Dane & Joe is a spin-off comic strip from Juniper Crescent. The guys are still part of the overall
cast list for that strip and still make appearances there, but it is here that they are coming into
their own.
After not quite getting the right feeling from KittenSoft I decided that the best way to make a
computer/gaming themed strip would be to take the two teenaged characters from Juniper
Crescent and have them approach gaming and computers as only they can. The nature of
the two of them means that the stories drift into other areas of their lives, but that's only
natural. Unlike other gaming strips that use very game-savvy characters, Dane and Joe come
at games and computers from an almost bewildered standpoint. They love computers, games
and the modern world in general, but they struggle to keep up with its pace of development.
